A word on pricing: All cakes are priced to be competitive with local bakeries, not with the grocery/discount store. It's true, you can go to any local grocer or discount store and buy a sheet cake very cheaply, however, it's ALSO true that you get what you pay for! Many of these stores do not even bake their product on site. They are baked in another state, thrown in a box and shipped to the store with no icing on it. This causes the cake to become dry and stale tasting by the time it gets to you. In the majority of these places, your cake is on a long list of other duties and receives approximately 10 minutes of attention to be completed. At SweetCakes, my whole purpose is to show you the individual attention you desire and DESERVE! I bake fresh, using high quality ingredients. I spend as much time as needed to ensure you are getting the best looking cake possible. I don't cut corners to get it done fast, and I don't work on 15 cakes at the same time! You are treated as though you are my only customer! Due to these factors, I cannot offer you a half sheet cake for under $20, but what I CAN offer you is the most delicious, moist, and flavorful cake that may have ever crossed your lips, at a price that is competitive with any bakery in town! Some people just want things cheap, if that is the case, I am probably not the baker for you. However, if you appreciate quality... if your taste buds crave something that will make them dance, I'm your gal!
Basic Pricing Outline: All cakes are subject to different details that may change the price, but prices can begin as low as $1 per serving for single layer cakes with basic icing* and decorations*. Specialty icings or decor may increase that amount. I am always happy to provide a free estimate before an order is placed.
*Basic frosting does not include those listed below as an additional charge. Basic Decoration refers to standard things such as icing flowers, borders, etc. Not to include edible images, fondant decorations, or decorations that are labor intensive

Edible Images are now available for your cakes or cookies. These images are charged at $5 per sheet, on top of the regular cost of the cake. One sheet would consist of one 8" X 10" square image, one 8" round image, or 12 - 2.5" rounds (on cookies or cupcakes). |
Use of the following items requires a deposit as listed. Timely return of these items in the same condition as they were borrowed will result in an immediate refund of deposit. (Failure to return items in a timely manner, or evidence of damage will result in forfeiture of deposit.)
Cakes and More stand (three tiered silver metal with clear plates) - $40
Roman Columns (Tall or short) - $5/per set of four
Fabric Wrapped pillars - $5/per set of four
Rhinestone Pillars - $30/per set of four
Tailored tiers display (2 separators wrapped with ribbon of choice) - $40
Floating tiers display (3 tiers stacked on white metal arm) - $75
Garden Stand (3 tiers with scrolled metal arms) - $75
Cake bases and plates – Varies according to size and shape.
When booking, a minimum deposit of 25% of the total is due to hold that date. This amount is refundable if cancellation notice is received at least 4 weeks prior to event. (Special circumstances may apply if notice is less than 4 weeks. Please ask.)
Delivery and set-up: $25 minimum charge for wedding set-up within 10 miles. Additional 'per mile' delivery charge may apply for any location outside 10 miles. Party cakes are available for pick-up or delivery.
Cake cutting/serving: $10 per hour
Note: 6" mini cakes are available as a top layer for a cake or as part of a larger order, but are not available exclusively for single purchase.
